The City has had a meeting with the Rural Development Grant writers and everyone else involved. I am becoming uncomfortable with what they call leverage and the City obligation to assume matching debt to build the forced sewer line to E. D. Etnyre. I have been reassured that the City can withdraw at any time.
The City will be making changes in the entrance to the Wastewater Facility making entry much easier for large vehicles. Mike Bowers and the City Street Department will do the necessary road repairs to meet the City’s needs. There will be a change in the fencing, improving the gate, relocating the entryway, and making repairs to the existing fencing. The City will also install a gated fenced area for small dogs at the City Dog Park.
The City will be changing the Facility Planning Area boundary to include not only E. D. Etnyre and Co., but also south to include the Sinnissippi Point subdivision to be built at Lowden and Daysville Roads.
We had a broken water main on Koontz Drive Sunday and the City had it repaired by noon on Monday. It was brought to my attention that the streets in the Williams Subdivision are sub standard and are going to be a serious concern for the City in the future.
