City of Oregon Water and Sewer update.
December 20, 2005

The City had a broken waterline at Washington and Third Street Monday the 19th, and apparently construction workers had caused it during the storm sewer project last summer.  Sorry for the inconvenience with the ice at the Seniors Center but frigid weather brings out all of the weaknesses in our infrastructure and the crews did well by repairing the problem under such adverse conditions.

The City will be working on a map of City properties in the City of Oregon.  The City has ownership of small parcels of land around Oregon and the City Hall needs a detailed map at their disposal.

The Dog Park is getting some use in this freezing weather and if that is any indication, it will really be a center of dog activity in the spring.   This winter is a good time to sign up for free access to the park and your cooperation is going to be very helpful to the city and the park operation.  The City will have a Dog Park grand opening in the spring and we will have our newest police officer “OZ” demonstrate his expertise at the event.  For those that have not met “OZ” our Belgian Malinois K-9, he is a wonderful dog that will charm your sox off.

Oregon City Public Property wishes all Citizens of Oregon a safe and joyous holiday season.
