Below is some street dept. news and a list of things the street dept. is
looking to accomplish during 2006.
The area is experiencing a thaw, and we all know what happens this time of
year...potholes! The Street Dept. is always on the lookout for them, but if
you happen to see one, please call city hall at 732-6321 with the location of
the pothole, so we can get it repaired.
Reminder: The city does not pick-up Christmas trees. Moring Disposal
typically picks them up with the weekly trash pick-up. To be environmentally
friendly, please transport the tree to the Park District maintenance building
for chipping. The chips are used by the Park District for landscaping.
