The scenic City of Oregon Illinois is nestled along the Rock River at the intersection of Illinois Route 64 and Illinois Route 2.  Oregon is a city located in Ogle County, Illinois. As of the 2010 census, the city had a total population of 3,800. It is the county seat of Ogle County.

The City of Oregon is accepting bids to sell a recently retired 2001 International Harvester 4900 dump truck. Price includes snow plow hitch and hydraulics to operate snowplow, dump box, salt spreader and flashing lights. Bid opening will take place at City Hall, 115 N. 3rd St., Oregon, IL 61061 on Wednesday June 8, 2016 at 9:00 AM Truck can be viewed at the City Street Garage, 11 Adams St. by appt.
