The scenic City of Oregon Illinois is nestled along the Rock River at the intersection of Illinois Route 64 and Illinois Route 2.  Oregon is a city located in Ogle County, Illinois. As of the 2010 census, the city had a total population of 3,800. It is the county seat of Ogle County.

The City of Oregon is accepting applications for a full-time position for the Street Department. Applicants must have a High School diploma or GED equivalent, a Class B CDL with air brakes or be able to obtain within 90 days of hire. Welding and/or Diesel Mechanic experience a plus. Applicants will be subjected to a thorough background check and a pre-employment physical and drug screening. Applications are available at City Hall, 115 N. 3rd St. Oregon, IL 61061 and must be submitted to City Hall.
